It's been said, but exit the Alabama section if you have a problem with the "circle jerking". Opinions are fine but obvious trolling due to butthurt won't get you anywhere but a ban from the thread.

1 - Alabama

You can whine all you want to, but it took an unprecedented perfect storm of these "better SoS" teams losing to teams teams they shouldn't have to allow Alabama a chance into the game. Also it's absurd that people can still make a claim that we didn't belong there after beating the unanimous #1 team 21-0.

Like somebody else said first, we're just enjoying the ride while it lasts. This is not a thread for defending championships, this is for putting their proximity to eachother in historical context.

I didn't say you didn't belong there last year, but you did absolutely get extremely lucky. To quote Obama, "you didn't build that championship run!", you had a ton of help.

Y'all migrate over to The Auburn board to LOL at us. I don't see this as any different. Lol.  Nick Saban is so ing good he's like 60-7 or something since 2008.  Those are dynasty numbers IMO no matter how many glass balls are in the case.  LSU is right there though and Georgia is perking up.  Both the Bama LSU and Bama Georgia games this year were huge in establishing pecking order.

On behalf of the Alabama fan base I'm sorry we don't suck enough.  I wish we could get our ass tapped 42-14 and 49-0 in back to back years but I guess we'll have to settle for having a "good" run.

Every team's history is a roller coaster of good and bad, we're in a good stage right now so I'm pretty sure we can enjoy this in our own section.  Honestly I would mind seeing another team go on this run and see how their fan base is, I'm pretty sure it would be a lot worse than just a thread every once in a while.

As for the thread topic, no dynasty talks should happen until we win Monday night.  This is a great run but winning 3 out of 4 would truly put us in dynasty talks and the scary part is we could continue to add on with the way Saban is doing and how we're recruiting.  It's not just about which and how many players you can bring in but you also have to coach and develop them, we've been very fortunate in this department.  Especially when you look at some other schools that either have a great staff but lack the resources or a lot of talent but lack the coaching.
