Then I guess you'd be willing to admit that just because a team wins a game doesn't mean that they're the best team?

Correct. Just because LSU beat us in November of 2011 doesn't mean we weren't the better team.

I'm pretty sure that college football is not my only hobby despite you insinuating that you somehow know all about my life.

I'm just saying that its hard to rank this time as a historical dynasty when you haven't even won the SEC three times in four years. Y'all were truly great in 2009 but you've merely been good since then.
I hate to insinuate so let me be blunt.  You're childish temper tantrum is pathetic.  This ain't about you or Auburn.

Apparently dynastys are rated only by national championships.

Only two other programs have won three championships in four years in the wire service era (since 1936). That would be Notre Dame (1946, 1947, 1949) and Nebraska (1994, 1995, 1997). Alabama would be the third such team in 76 years if it beats this version of the Irish.

To quote Pastor Troy, and vica versa!
I kept failing a math test at the University of Alabama because every time I added 5+3 I got 8 and they kept insisting that the right answer was 14.

And if Auburn wins the national championships in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 they'll have the greatest dynasty ever. The problem is that it hasn't happened yet. This post makes no sense before the game has been played, it just makes Bama fans look arrogant.

If you say so. We've got rings and trophies that say otherwise.

I'll answer the question you've been avoiding: Alabama did win the BCS Championship last year. I know it hurts, considering how far Auburn fell after they won it, but not all teams self-implode like you guys.

But you weren't the best team in the SEC.

Finally something we agree on.  Alabama fans are arrogant and so unrealistic that they actually expect to win a national championship every year.  And their coach is a sumbitch that demands perfection even when he's up by 30 points.

But what you're really upset about is the ATTENTION the media gives powerhouse football programs.

Nope, sadly we had to settle for being the best team in the nation. Coincidentally, beating the "best team in the SEC."

You're trolling needs work. I applaud your efforts though. Keep working at it, do your homework, and get back to me in 6-8 weeks.

Regardless of the subject matter, I LOL'd at the thread title because it had "Alabama" and "perspective" in it.

I don't even watch TV unless its during a game, MLB Network, the Walking Dead, or HBO and I don't pay attention to most news websites. The fans are far worse than the media from my view. Y'all lose a game and immediately you're pointing out how you deserve to go to the NC even if teams X, Y, and Z all go undefeated, etc.

But the best team in the SEC beat y'all as many times as you beat them AND had a better record. I don't think either one of you can clearly claim to be the "best team in the nation".

NCIS...Saying Alabama was "merely good" last year is full of butthurt. Last year's Bama D was statistically the best that CFB has seen in about the last 10-20 years. We didn't win the SEC, but you can't say that we were just "good" when we were easily one of the best teams in the country and beat LSU like a drum in the title game.

If you are trolling, you're doing a great job at sounding like you actually believe what you say. Otherwise, you might want to take off the orange and blue shades.

Anyways, I do agree that the dynasty talk should hold off unless we beat ND on Monday night. We haven't done enough yet to warrant the dynasty talk. Three NC's in four years would do it, but remember the 2006 Rose Bowl.

Actually, NCIS is kinda owning your asses right now. These circle jerks are vomit inducing.

We're all impressed by Bama and what Saban is doing, but quit going so over the top with every bit of praise you heap upon yourselves, for Original Image: <a href='http://www.sectalk.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/lanekiffin.gif' class='bbc_url' title=''>http://www.sectalk.c.../lanekiffin.gif</a>'s sake.
