Things I learned over the weekend....

The Tennessee Stud   Stats: Has started 49 games as a four-year starter. … Has blocked for eight 100-yard rushers in 2012 and 33 in his career. … Has yet to surrender a sack in 2012, spanning 287 pass attempts. … Has 20 pancake blocks this season. … Has missed only six assignments in 731 snaps (99.2 percent) and has graded out at 90 percent or better in 10 games (90.4 avg.).

The Clydesdale:   Stats: Has started 35 games in three seasons. … Second on team with 33 pancake blocks. … Has allowed only four sacks in 267 pass attempts. … Has missed only 11 assignments in 728 plays (98.6 percent). … Average weekly grade has been 89.4 percent (eight games of 90-plus).


The War Horse Stats:  3 star recruit grows into 1st round pick.  Leads the team with 37 pancake blocks. … Has missed only six assignments in 657 snaps (99.1 percent) and has graded out at 90 percent or better in seven games (89.4 avg.). I played Anthony Steen in high school. He whooped my ass up one side of the field and down the other.
