BB and nova, you have much to learn. This is a Aub board.... you must tote the Aub party line or you are "trolling." Don't you dare bring in previous knowledge of obvious deficiencies of each of the assistants Auburn has brought in, because obviously every assistant coach Auburn hires is better than every head coach in the NFL.

I thought about trying to discuss my opinions on the coaches, because a significant portion coached at MSU, but decided it wasn't worth it when I saw one of you say Melvin Smith is the Gus Malzahn of defensive backs coaches....

First off Nobody said that about Smith dumbass. Second they are actually discussing points in the AU forum instead of talking shit like you do on both your screen names.

Just announced, final position coach Tim Hirton has been hired for TE.  Horton was RB and recruiting coordinator at Arkansas.

That makes three new AU coaches coming on from being recruiting coordinators at UGA, FSU and Ark.

Horton's a good man and coach.I wish him well.He helped hold our incoming class together during the Nutt departure and he seems to be well respected by high school coaches.Good pickup.

We know Mississippi State fans are used to that process of never having a steady coaching staff and never consistently winning, but we do things differently here in Auburn. We normally only lose coaches when other teams want to hire them to be head coaches.
I kept failing a math test at the University of Alabama because every time I added 5+3 I got 8 and they kept insisting that the right answer was 14.

Or we fire them all after the worst season in over 50 years...
