Yeah, I hate getting rejects that coached the top cornerback in the country, had one of the best defenses in the country three years in a row, just won top recruiter in the country by Rivals, etc. we should be very sad with who we've gotten this year.

....Or not.
I kept failing a math test at the University of Alabama because every time I added 5+3 I got 8 and they kept insisting that the right answer was 14.

He gets off on getting a rise out of people. Some folks aren't happy unless they're trying to make someone else unhappy.

so if you claim you're a realist then how do you propose to make that a logical statement?

people like that on the internet have actually made me a better person, I'm much calmer than I used to be and it now takes a lot to verbally offend me.

Well, when Auburn had a Heisman winner, they won a championship.

When Auburn didn't, they were bad.

when? because we've had undefeated seasons aplenty without a heisman winner. so that statement is totally untrue. The BCS didn't give us a shot in 04 and the time before that we were on probation, neither of those is going to be a problem going forward, still think we have to have a heisman winner to be good?

I'm gonna stand by the whole, that statement was trollish thing.

I absolutely think Auburn can be good without a Heisman winner.

They just can't get a championship.

It's not an insult or troll attempt.  It's how almost every team is.  Only the elite teams can win big without the best player or two in the country.

With the exception of CP, our STs have been HORRIBLE since Wilhoit and Colquitt left.

A pretty good hail mary attempt, but no dice.

I hope the new staff gets things rolling for you guys. I grew up with Auburn football. The SEC move means every year a chance to meet up with dad for a game. This year was my first trip to Auburn, loved the town and the people, but the game was rough and no one was around after the game. Looking for that to change.

Gig'em.
