Jeff Driskel should have been a 3-star QB out of high school.  The ranking system is so biased to the biggest programs its a joke.

Overall
10.  Jeff Driskel
.
.
.
.
.
.
143. Teddy Bridgewater

Edit: Not really trash talk just discussion

Driskel is terrible as a pocket passer. I feel like he would excel in Urban Meyer's offense.

They aren't biased. Some kids just show more potential and have the tangible skills to excel, while things like 'mental toughness' etc are difficult to judge in 17-18 year olds. Also, take into account that some kids only excel in one system (Kiehl Frazier, anyone?). KF has all of the necessary tools to be an elite collegiate QB, but a) he lacks mental toughness and confidence in his system and B) had zero coaching. As raw as he was, I 100% guarantee he won't be as bad in Malzahn's system as he was in Loeffler's.

Driskel.
Throws up in the air to hurt his receivers.
Throws at their feet to kill YAC.
Hangs onto the ball too long for unnecessary sacks and fumbles.
His version of hurry up offense was slower than anything I've ever seen.

Find a new QB.

He was pretty darn good at his UA game if I remember correctly. I think the Gator fans were drooling over his speed.

I have to respectfully disagree on Kiehl Frazier.  He cant throw for shit, never has been able to and never will.  He played in shitty 3A Arkansas high school football. The only reason he got his ranking was because people were drawing comparisons to Cam Newton, just as people drew comparisons to Tebow with Driskel.

This was Driskel's worst game of the year, even worse than the UGA game which I didn't think was possible.
Not sure what happened, but that is not an example of how things went for him this year.

He had his moments, but to be the number 1 QB I feel like you should be able to pass for at least 2000 yards.

All I'll say is that Teddy Bridgewater is a VERY good QB.  Has potential at the next level but has some issues with the accuracy on the long ball (30+ yards) downfield.

Driskell was very disappointing in the Sugar Bowl....can't remember him doing ANYTHING GOOD
that stood out.

Bridgewater >>> Driskel

Not a flame from me either....hell, I hate UofL.

@JoeGator, you know you're my boy, but Jeff Driskel is not a very good QB right now. Nor has he been impressive at any given point in the season except maybe the A&M game. He may be a good or great QB in the future. But he is, at best, serviceable at this point.

I never even said he was a good QB.
Actually I've said "serviceable" on a pretty regular basis.
He had good games against A&M, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
