There are 5-6 teams across the country as good as the SEC's top 5 or so. Some of these pairings are just not that enticing. You fail one play and drop out of a NC spot, the sugar or Capitol one are poor consolation prizes. Then you play some fired up hearty team that all they want to do in knock off a title contender.

You run the gauntlet in the sec losing god knows how much NFL talent to injury and these guys roll in with a fresh little finesse offense and they're like hey you're not so good we're better.

All you need to know is that SEC teams house the last 6 crystal footballs with a spot open for #7. It is not a theory that SEC teams are bigger, faster, more physical and more dominant. It is proven.
