Last time I was at Legion was around 10 years ago, and last I remember, the surrounding neighborhood was pretty much a dumpster fire.

Is anyone planning on parking elsewhere (downtown Birmingham, etc) and taking shuttle buses to Legion?

If so, what are y'alls plans specifically? I'll take any tips I can get.

Look for a hotel thats got a shuttle to the game and just park there. Even if it costs some, its better than the alternative of parking in that rats nest around the stadium.

Looks like the Sheraton, Wynfrey, Marriott, and Hilton are offering shuttle services, according to the bowl site. Probably our best bet.

I was pretty scared last time I went to a game at legion field, no lie. Would not recommend driving to it and parking in the ghetto that's for sure.

I called a few of the hotels, and we're gonna park at the Marriott. They're running buses every 15 minutes starting at 8:30, and postgame till midnight. Sounds good to me.

Pulling out of the driveway at 5 AM, and plan on being at the Marriott in time to catch an early bus.

We've stayed at the Wynfrey.  Top notch.

You can stay in my spare room for $20/night if you'd like. But you must supply the alcohol. I live in Vestavia right off both hwy 31 and 65.
