I'm a Seahawk fan who moved out here a couple years ago. I've been a fan since my childhood. I lived in Seattle for 30 years. Since moving out here I became attached to SEC football. I watch the Seahawks every week on Sunday Ticket. I like the direction the team is going and i've even warmed up to Pete Carroll.

I hate our fans. Yes they are loud and Century Link is the best home field advantage due to its accustics and crowd noise. I just hate how ignorant Seattle fans are. They are insufferable. They bitch and whine about every conspiracy theory known to man. The ref's are always screwing us, its not fair we have to travel so much, these 1 p.m. starts on the east coast aren't fair, the media doesn't pay us enough attention, Russell Wilson should be ROY but he won't because the media loves Luck and RG3, our guy got fined unfairly because he's not (name any big named player), we should be higher on the power rankings, etc and blah blah blah. They even conspire that the NFL hates them and that everyone thinks Seattle is some under water city like Atlantis or its some place in Alaska. Basicly just a major case of whiney ass bitches.

And then to top it off they just don't know jack. If it doesn't revolve around their little world they are clueless. This one jabroni replied to another guys comment about how he wished the Seahawks could somehow get Clowney and the other guys response was "why cuz he made one big play?". This guy who said that garbage was supposed to be a big time football fan and was clueless as to who Clowney even was. He had to go "read up on him" before he knew who Clowney was. Another example is how arrogant the fans are about the playoffs. They think they will win on the road, no problem. Well anyone who has a brain knows the Seahawks struggle on the road and I wouldn't be surprised if and when the Seahawks lose in Washington. Seattle is great at home but not on the road. And every time I read an article on the main media outlets involving the Seahawks like ESPN, Fox Sports, ProFootballTalk, or CBS in the comments sections at the bottom the fans are total doosh bags. They talk so much crap it makes me feel embarrassed.

Anyway sorry to ramble but I just visited our doosh bag message board and came away feeling ill.

Anyone else feel that way about your fan base or am I the only one?

Sometimes I don't like Vanderbilt fans. I love my fellow Preds, Braves, and Titans fans.

But VU fans sometimes irk me with the elitist attitude crap.

BTW, I absolutely love Seattle as a city. It's in my top 5. You're lucky to live there.

I guess being from Bama I don't get it since I live in rural areas and not cities but I don't understand how someone can have the passion for pro sports like I do Alabama football. To answer you there are bad fans in every fanbase some Bama fans take it to far like Harvey but for the most part the fans in my circle just love Alabama football.

Wouldn't say "hate", but I'm realistic enough to admit that there's a significant portion of our fanbase (not really on this board, just out in the "real" world) who are pretty unbearable to deal with.
