Wilson remains on staff.  Good move by Merlin.

If you recal, we didn't have a DC.  We had two assistant coordinators.

Lord Merlin simply knighted the better game plan/play caller.

Meo, saying things like that help other schools flip players.  Especially elite talent that loves Wilson.

To say that anything I say on a message board affects what any recruit does is marginally overstating my power. The only thing that helps other schools flip players is Merlin isn't a very good recruiter

Here is what is happening:

1.  Collins takes over planning and play calling
2.  Wilson will remain a defensive coach (DL)
3.  Unless offered a DC job at a big 6 school, Wilson will stay.

You all said you wanted a change!

Merlin knows who should own estates in his Kingdom.

Wilson has been dressed down because his army did not stop opponents advances.

Now if only we could improve our own advances!

Wilson will get us good troops to man the ramparts.  This does not worry me.

Our advances however are another story.

Our new field general is the best in our miserable future.  This is good.

He had none but peasants doing his bidding.

Can we garner men to single handedly effect the outcome of battle?

Signing day illustrates the fact that the pen is mightier than the sword.

Needs to be a thread of it's own.  Outstanding.

Awful move if true. Elite talent in the balance. Wait until after signing day!!!!!

Oh, and Koening needs to go too. Or we at least need to us Dak in an offense that the old fricker can operate. Koening sucks at anything other than the spread. And, no, we never did commit to an offense. We kept the same offense we've had the last three years........We just threw it more, which doesn't work when you don't change the entire scheme around to fit that. We went from a run happy zone read to a pass happy zone read wannabe? That doesn't even make any friggen sense.

i dunno....we didnt challenge the field like we did in the early years and as a result, the field shrunk and defenses collapsed.  yeah, it was the same splits on the field and formations, but totally different ways of attacking a defense.
