We can't with with the player you guys love more than anyone else.... Nikkoe Whitley. He is awful. Misses tackles. Misses assignments. Racks up personal fouls. When he does make a play, spikes the ball and gets another personal foul.

The guy is a joke and the fact that you all have attacking me and BatesvilleBaron (and mayble BLS and 1dawgfan) for calling a duck a duck over the years shows who really has the football knowledge on this board.

Why do we have do go this route in every thread?  Nothing was wrong with Nickoe Whitley until his injury.  He was a good safety.  We ALL knew that.  You aren't going to find anyone who doesn't think he had a bad year.  I cursed him up and down while watching the Egg Bowl.

Everything doesn't have to be a "I know it all" post.  Jeez.  Hell, Whitley was a lone bright spot in our pile of poop today.  Minus the unsportsmanlike, but at least he was showing some passion unlike the rest of our benchwarmers.

*Disclaimer:  This is not me saying Nickoe is all-world.  Just nipping that in the bud before you add that to your repertoire?

Whitley alone accounted for 75% of our penalty yards, along with having his usual more missed tackles than tackles and more routes he got completely burned on than passes defended.

Whitley is a joke and to say otherwise is just stupid.

He also had 66% of our takeaways.  But yes, he does take horrible angles.  Feast or famine, I guess.

Nikcoe was steaming feces this year. I don't know if he just never came back from that injury or what, but he sucked it royal this go round.

Whitley didn't magically become a bad player this season. Merlin didn't cast a spell to take away his two extra stars. He has always been bad. Open your eyes.

I think that y'all overreact way too much. The announcer said that he was in the top 10 in SEC history for attempts to interception ratio. He can't have terrible decision making with that good of a percentage. Y'all need to stop overreacting. Everybody has a bad game or two.

its not necessary that he is a bad qb....hes not....hes horrible for our offense and skillset.  he has been a round peg in a square hole this whole season and our adjustment to his skill set have been turrble.  in a pro style offense, he would be killing it, but we dont have talent on the offensive line or at wr.  it bothers me that the coaches are surprised by the outcome of today and it bothers me that dan wouldnt give dak a legit chance to turn it around.  we should either drop our offensive philosophy to fit his skill set or drop russell in favor of a qb that has talents that make the offense we have in place function as it should.

The fact that you idiots blame Merlin's inability to modify our offense to fit with our TOP talent on Russell is astounding.
