Suprised so far by the firing of Lovie Smith, and that the Jets decided to keep Rex Ryan. Other than that, pretty much going as I figured.

Bud Adams continuing to be the worst owner in professional sports history.

It's been a bloodbath today. Bud Adams continues to keep the Titans a sub-par team.

Chargers, Cards, Browns fire coach and GM.
Bears, Bills, Eagles, and Chiefs fire coach. Jaguars coach may be fired by new GM.
Jets, and Jags fire GM.
Did I miss any? Bears and Chargers are pretty good jobs and you inherit quality QB's. I too was surprised Ryan kept his job. Do the assistant coaches get fired autmaticly too? I like Ray Horton (Cardinals) as a defensive coordinator, he's a Dick Leabeu deciple.

Are Bud and Jerry Jones having a contest to be the worst? You guys need to switch back to being the oilers, that would fix everything.
Those are by far my favorite uniforms past or present in the history of the NFL.

Jerry at least fields a team that flirts with winning a division every year.

Such is true. Jerry makes pretty good coaching hires with the options he has, but thats because the big names like Jeff Fisher and Bill Cowher wont coach for him because Jerry wont give up the damn GM title. If Jerry would hire a GM, with the amount of money he is willing to spend to win, Dallas could be like it was in the early 90's with Jimmy Johnson.

I don't know if any team will be like that because of the salary cap but there is no reason that the Cowboys with their resources couldn't put together a consistent contender like the Colts and Patriots.

True, Dallas needs to start looking for a franchise QB. Not wait until Romo cant play at all, and try to get one in the next draft. Jerry has had an awful record of picking QB's since Troy Aikman retired. All-stars such as Quincy Carter, Anthony Wright, Ryan Leaf, Clint Stoerner, Chad Hutchinson and senior citizens Vinny Testaverde and Drew Bledsoe have been some of his blunders.

watching other nfl teams play, our (titans) "brain trust" is so far behind the eight ball, its sad...we are always playing catch up because no one knows what the hell they are doing...

Titans fired Mike Reinfeld. He was the team president or the guy in charge of Bud Adams sponge bath. It doesn't really matter the Titans aren't interested in football either way.
Good point. I remember Reinfeld now, he used to be with the Seahawks. I think he was also the guy who lured Hasselbeck over to the Titans.
I heard Jacksonville was looking for a GM but Jason Cole I think from yahoo says the GM in Jacksonville is safe according to his sources.

ugh, it looks like there is a chance that we retain both the OC and DC...how on earth is that even possible??...at first i was just indifferent about munchak because he was boring and ineffective, now, i just hate him and cant wait till he and adams are gone...i want romeo crennel as DC and anybody as OC...i dont expect a wisenhunt or turner or even someone else's OC because we are the titans but god, make a decision what you want to be on offense and hire someone to make it happen...preferably some zone running...

Bad enough we keep Munchak but if we keep both our coordinators then...I don't even want to think about it.
