The tournament we won last year. A place you wont see for a long time.
Hm, I thought you were talking about a place you would be this year.

USC has a decent win record right now, but we haven't really played anyone. The SEC slate is about to begin, and we'll see then how poor our team is this season. We also seem to have lost senior PG LaShay Page to academics, and he only transferred for his final year to help us with the backcourt depth. Most Gamecock fans are only hoping for improvement in the discipline and teamwork of the team. Win expectations will come next year perhaps....
As to the OP and Bama, it's got to sting just a little to see your former HC (that the fanbase on here at least wanted run out of town) now at NCSU taking them to the Sweet 16 last season and having them in the top 25. It would be as bad I suppose as us seeing Darrin Horn leading a top 25 team this season somewhere...

This is a historic low.
We had 2 Final Four teams in 2006, and neither was Kentucky.
Just a couple of years ago there were 8 or 9 good teams in the conference.
We should be getting better results from UK, Bama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Ole Miss to an extent.

Tennessee seems to be getting better, now that we finally found an offense. Have solid wins over Xavier and Wichita State, along with playing @Georgetown down to the wire. If we had anything that resembled an offense in that game we would have blew them out. Oh well.
Knowing Tennessee though, now that the offense is getting better, the D will turn to shit.

We beat Xavier.
That means they're no longer a solid win.

Considering we lost two of the players we could count on for any inside help and basically Frank Martin had to recruit a new team, we are not half bad. We are a long ways from being a playoff team but these guys play hard and play the right way, I love Frank Martin, just give him time he will make South Carolina basketball revelant again.
MARCUS, GET WELL SOON!

My wife and I have a nice "consolidation of teams" to follow. She, a KU alum, has become a big UGA football fan, and I now have the Jayhawks to follow after UGA footbal team finishes their season.
UGA hoops stink as bad as KU football. Last 8 seasons UGA SEC record has averaged 5-11.
