The Alabama Crimson Tide.
What in the blue blazes has happened to us? We went from a borderline top 25 team, top 10 RPI and a team built on the foundation of young players who got their feet wet last season...to THIS? Back to back losses to MERCER AND TULANE AT HOME?
Sure, we've been banged up, but even so...we can't score. At all. Not even against bad teams.
This is just extremely unfortunate. Many of us came into this season with very high aspirations. A repeat NCAA performance, perhaps a win or two in the Dance this time around. Now it's looking like a tossup for us to even finish over .500.
Grant's seat is officially hot. And I never thought I'd say that a couple of months ago. If we don't at least turn things around and look respectable, for crying out loud....we might be looking for a new coach next spring.
As of now, it's still very early, and a lot can happen...but I don't think there's a team in the conference playing worse than us right now. That includes Vanderbilt and Auburn.
Very, very VERY disappointed. I feel like an idiot for suggesting we could be one of the five best teams in the SEC.

Luckily a couple of early losses aren't fatal in basketball. But these are concerning,no doubt.Seems like alot of our teams are stuggling right now.I thought the SEC as a whole would be stronger this year but it hasn't been so far.
One thing though,we'll probably lose at ya'lls place.Road games have killed us as of late.

Alabama? The worst team in the SEC?
Have you seen us play?
Have you seen us play?
The only difference is you guys were EXPECTED to be a pile of garbage this year. We were expected to actually be a solid team, and we already have home losses to Dayton, Mercer and TULANE. THE GREEN
ING WAVE.

I do think it's funny how in football, we all argue over who is the best. In basketball, the opposite seems to be true...we argue over who is the worst.

UGA, Auburn, South Carolina, and Miss St are all pretty terrible.

People will never let Mississippi State have the credit it deserves.
We're the worst. None of the rest of you are even close.
