I have never stated that LSU is our biggest rival.

I have, on the other hand, stated emphatically that I hate LSU above all other teams. This has been true for years, as @1dawgfan09 and others can attest to.

Get it right homie.

Aw, come on brah. Cut me some slack, it's the same thing.

Bottom line is that most of (or maybe just the most outspoken) Ole Miss posters here have been degrading Mississippi State so badly for so long that it looks ridiculous for fans to tear down goalposts.

with regard to the tearing down the goal posts comments:

Wait, they weren't torn down?
Was the field rushed at least?

Rushing the field is bad, but not nearly as bad as tearing down goalposts.

The rebs climbed on top of the goal posts after beating an unranked team. If they weren't torn down it wasn't because of lack of trying.

All you rebs denying that you ran on the field and tore down the goal posts after winning the egg bowl just proves which fanbase is delusional

Nope, they were not torn down, only the field was rushed.

never denied rushing the field.

Was unaware goal posts were torn down, climbed on, hung from, painted blue and red, used as a battering ram against cars in select parking areas, catapulted through various billboards through out the state, turned into bar stools now sold at Crate & Barrel, cut into pieces, melted down, and are now used as cages for the North American Black Bear at zoos' nationwide...the MSU faithful here absolutely insist they were torn down so why stop there?

They weren't. Torn. Down. That's the point.. The 10 State fans left at our game just seeing our crowd on the field and running with it trying to say we tore down the posts lol

Well no one said they weren't torn down until I asked haha.

Still, no shame in rushing the field for beating a big time rival for the first time in several years.
The shame comes from 3 years of insisting that the other team is inferior even while they are beating you, THEN rushing the field.

I would rush the field in Jax every year if I was certain I wouldn't get arrested.

I just have to say that the Ole Miss v Mississippi State threads always deliver.
