If Hugh Freeze was asked about that game and said "yea I think we could've scored 70, easily" I think we'd roll our eyes. Mullen's arrogance is comical.

I would rather be a fan of a team whose coach believes his team has no excuse for not scoring 35 points in a half than be a fan of a school that tears the goalposts down for beating an unranked team "that isn't even our real rival" that you had been screaming at everyone how bad they sucked for three years.

It was more of a statement to Dan Mullen, the students rushing the field that is, not the beating the players gave his team...

Little brothers tear down goalposts for beating unranked teams. I don't get why, of all things, BILLBOARDS are what you say it the reason you rushed the field after beating an un-ranked team. Ripping down goal posts after beating unranked team doesn't scream flagship, it screams desperate.

I have never driven on the highway and seen a billboard, and thought "Damn, that billboard made me so angry that I am going to go try to convince everyone that the people that put up that billboard suck. I am going to tell them how much better we are than them. We are going to beat them head to head, book it." Then when said head to head match up ensues, you win (as you said you would all year) you rip down goal posts, which is what people do when they beat a powerhouse they shouldn't have beaten.
