Idiot announcer arguing that Cincy would have had to go for inside their own own had they not made the first down Good gawd where do they get these idiots.
"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

It's not really even his fault.  You see how low he was holding that ball.  In that situation it should be high and tight wrapped up with two hands.  He just wasn't coached to run that way.  If it had been drilled into his skull then he would not have fumbled.

They are a passing team and I think the idea of 4 minute offense escaped them.

Cut's been in coaching a long time; you'd think he'd know better than to trust his team's fate of winning the school's first bowl game in more than 50 years, to 2 freshmen RB's.

Inside the 10 and less than a minute from winning the game, even with only a FG, all he had to do was practice some ball security with a veteran and Duke's long drought would have been over.

Guess that's ACC football for you; gotta love it. Good to see Duke joining the rest of its conference in stinking up the bowl season, though.
