Through the school they were $95 and in the end zone. I was able to get lower corner on Carolina's sideline for $86.

It's always like this. Getting tickets through the school for bowl games are always worse than what you can get through the bowls. At least for Carolina's bowls.

For us, it was $66 lower bowl, $86 club; right now, on seatgeek, endzones start at $73, sideline at $150, and club at $125 - and those have come down quite a bit over the last couple of weeks.

School was cheaper.

Looks like the sponsors of the MCB (who get all tickets from 20 yd line in on both sides) are playing off of the home town crowd.... Thats a lot of money... for any bowl...

In b4 Hogan comes in tomorrow (too late tonight) and somehow turns this thread into a Vandy circle jerk.

Vandy fans are starting to wake up and support the team, about time. Maybe if the fans would have showed more interest over the last few years we would have focused more on football sooner

School(Bowl): Travel Distance, Drive Time

Vandy(Music City Bowl): 4.3mi, 0:10
Ole Miss(BBVA Compass Bowl): 187mi, 3:01
A&M(Cotton Bowl): 189mi, 3:05
UGA(Cap One Bowl): 452mi, 7:04
SC(Outback Bowl) 489, 7:23
LSU(Chick-Fil-A Bowl): 527mi, 7:50
UF(Sugar Bowl): 532mi, 7:53
MSU(Gator Bowl): 563mi, 9:10
Bama(BCSNCG): 787mi, 12:01

So, basically, throwing out the National Championship Game which is gonna sell out regardless...the two other teams that sold out are the two teams traveling the shortest distance? Shocking. Only team that really deserves a wtf is A&M..that's pretty much a home game. I'll never blamle someone for not traveling to a bowl game..people in the real world have stuff to do.

All the bowls are shitty this year.
On top of that why the hell is the Sugar Bowl at 8:30pm in the middle of an effing work week?

These damn things were made for TV and for TV only.
Fans showing up is just an added bonus.

Maybe thats the benefit of playing your bowl game in the hometown of your university?

actually you began to show interest in football the year you got rid of the athletic dept. due to by laws of the university you couldn't access moneys for sports programs within the athletic dept. by eliminating it you could get around that problem. it just took a little time for it to take effect.
