I really haven't checked out Mizzou's last 5 games, and to my surprise there were some tough games ahead.
Obviously South Carolina at home next week is a big one, with Tennessee posing a possible challenge. Kentucky, not so much...but you never know in the SEC. Then, @Ole Miss and A&M at home. I wasn't aware of these last two, which should keep this November very interesting in the East, to say the least.
They're certainly in the drivers seat, but I could see the schedule finally taking it's toll. They deserve their props to taking it to a good defense in Florida(injuries or not) with a backup QB, but will it last?
Mizzou clinches the East if it wins the next 3.... USC will be without Shaw more than likely so that'll play into our D-lines advantage with a pocket passer back there... it'll be a bend, but don't break game and they get us on homecoming which except for the abomination that happened when Texas was NC contenders we usually win... A win next week gives us basically a 3 game cushion... which is insane... A loss and we will need to basically win out, which is possible A&M is looking very mortal right now and we are historically their jinx.... A lot of things can happen, but honestly my assessment is we win next week split UT/OM and lose to A&M... 10-2 East champions.... Lose to Bama... play in cotton bowl or Sugar bowl ... 11-3...
of course we could lay an egg but even in that situation I still see us going 9-3 with a bowl win..... and who in their right mind thought that would happen...
