Spurrier finally has the offense he's been waiting for...and he loves beating the shit out of UT, so this one may get ugly. Like I said I expect the Vols to be able to keep it reasonably close most of the game, but I wouldn't be shocked if we just beat the brakes off the Vols either.

UT at home after a bye week with confidence high? I see a slugfest with UT walking away with a W.

However, USC is easily the best team and have a felling they have a second half more like last week then the previous against UK.

A similarity between Arky and UT on paper is that both teams have awful passing offenses to this point. They are the bottom 2 teams in the league in this area. USC's defensive issues have centered mostly around it's young LB/Spur/DB positions, and it has resulted in a poor passing defense, mostly in 4th quarters....
But Arkansas wasn't able to take advantage of this "weakness" due to their poor passing O. USC doesn't have bad players at those positions, they are just inexperienced. But they are talented and athletic, and you give them a chance they will dominate. They dominated Arkansas...
Can the Vols do what the Hogs couldn't? Before last week, Arky actually had the BETTER passing offense between the two. If Worley struggles finding a rhythm like Allen did, the same script may play out this Saturday...
As for the defensive side of things, Arkansas pretty much has the better defense than the Vols "on paper" in every category. USC also made some key mistakes on offense as well that kept us from scoring even more points, such as the botched hand-off by Shaw at the Arky 12 yd line when we were up 17-7.
IMO, the Arkansas game has injected some confidence into the Gamecocks. Clowney was back to playing and contributing. The team went into a tough environment it has succeeded in very rarely and dominated, on the road against an SEC foe when those occasions have been the toughest for the Gamecocks. And the defense answered concerns by playing strong for 4 quarters. Even got in some of the reserves in the 4th qtr. so the team depth got some good playing epxerience...
WR Shaq Roland will return to the team for UT too: Roland was USC's leading receiver when he was suspended for school policy violation for 3 gms. So the offense if anything has gotten a bit deeper...
