Homer of the Year, Round 1

Alright folks, this is where we cut the crap and get down to business.
Some heavweight matchups right from the get go.
The winner of the No.1 v No.6 matchups is allowed a bye during the next round.

Poll will be open a full week. We want to make sure there's no controversial finishes- no SEC refs allowed.

Remember, some of these guys are hot right now, some have made the tourney based on preseason expectatons, some have a well-rounded homer resume.
Vote with your gut. This is why we play the games.

Get to it.

Voted.

GeauxTo's Ghost and @Dawgfan4life24 is perhaps going to be the most interesting 2nd round matchup.
If @SECats doesn't win this, it is the most rigged system in america.
My only real upset  pick was Neil, pretty easy right now.
I will have to give careful consideration to Krieg vs GatorHater24. Krieg started out the year with tremendous expectations but has not homered well down the stretch. Bad performances in the latter stages of the Gene Chizik fiasco really halted his momentum. I could see an upset there, too.
Mizzou will be the best team in the country once we get Bowers back. We would be the best ever if we still had Dixon.
Henry Josey for Heisman. Maty Mauk will be better than  Johnny Football. Mizzou wins the East.
Mizzou has the best wrestling team in the SEC.
@Mizzou_Fan you taking it personally bro

Voted for mizzoufan, dont know if that's really an upset though
Hogan winning 10 - 0 ... That is my prohibitive favorite to win the whole thing.
I voted for myself. Original Image: <a href='http://www.sectalk.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/lanekiffin.gif' class='bbc_url' title=''>http://www.sectalk.c.../lanekiffin.gif</a>ing homer

1.) you must have Hogan blocked

2.) Geauxto must have left before you got here
I can't go out in the first round. Not like our basketball team who had a fluke last year but will win the championship this year.

Yeah, I have no idea who Geauxto is but I doubt he's as big of a homer as me.

I'm trying to get hot at the right time and make a run for it all.

I thought that Hobby and Tider would be a better matchup but Hobby is just too strong.

What are you talking about, I'm off to a good start and I grabbed the early lead.

GeauxTo was 10x the homer you are, trust me.

I was here for a bit before he left, and there is no comparison.

Right @GeauxTo?  (Doubt that works, but what the hell?)
OBJECTION

I noticed that our resident funny guy @ShaunMac has voted for HOTY, but frankly who the :lanekiffin: is he

Doing a good job since its looking like you may pull the only upset in the 1st round. I voted haymaker because I've seen him on here even when the Tide was down, but Bama fans may be at a disadvantage here since the Tide is usually the best team in the land.

Don't sleep on the Haymaker, he has a lot of experience when it comes to drankin' that Crimson Kool-Aid. Roll Tide Roll.

Well I got a higher seed than him so I must be doing something right.

5 career posts and he also doesn't want to tell us his gender, I call shenanigans.
GeauxTo was one hell of a homer... Missouri hasn't been in the SEC long enough... The only thing that could've put you in this convo is if you were behind all of that "Old Man Football" shit

Well, yeah dude.

GeauxTo be ghostin' right now.
