This was supposed to be the most boring week of college football for SEC fans, but it did not work out that way...
IF Alabama can scrape by Auburn and Georgia can escape the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, the DAWGS and CRIMSON TIDE will be playing the SEC Championship game for the right to represent God's Conference in the Mythical National Championship Game.
So, all is right with the world. Things are back to being as they should be. But you want to know what the real kicker is? Despite looking pretty bad the last few weeks against sub-standard competition, the Florida GATORS are also back in the picture!
Find a way to beat FSU in Tallahassee and there is a very solid chance that Muschamp has his squd ranked number two in the BCS. In fact, it looks like that scenerio is the ONLY way the aTm AGGIES get left out of the BCS picture. I'm thinking that the folks in College Station would be OK with that; especially if they get to dismantle Texas in the Cotton Bowl and stake a real claim on recruiting dominance in their home state...
Yes, Lane Kiffin has to get his act together and lead the Trojans to victory againt the Fighting Irish, but the prospect of an all SEC NCG now seems VERY realistic. Amazing considering that just a few short hours ago the conventional wisdom had pegged this year as THE YEAR that we got left out.
Stay tuned fellers - things just got interesting!

Sure because my post totally implies the AP has never been relevant. Besides, it's getting really hard to count that high; I've almost run out of fingers and toes!!

Notre Dame loses to USC.
Bama beats Auburn.
UGA beats GT.
Florida beats FSU.
LSU beats Arkansas.
Bama/UGA vs Florida?
Now if Florida lost would it be Oregon or LSU vs Bama/UGA?

I think UF will lose. The ND game is very interesting because it looks like USC has their quarterback out & they have not looked that strong the last few weeks.
if FSU beat UF & ND loses, it will be the Seminoles. Oregon may not even get to play for a PAC 12 Championship

Not unless everyone has 2 losses - a 2 loss LSU won't jump a 1 loss FSU or Notre Dame, not this year.
So no, the Irish only have 1 more game.
LSU is out.

If Notre Dame loses I would guess the UF/FSU winner would play the Bama/UGA winner.

However, if Stanford beats UCLA next weekend, Oregon's hopes are over.

No way FSU gets in. Computers hate FSU and the ACC. If ND loses and we lose, a lot of wild computer math would put KState or Oregon back in it.
